Number 10 Southland Youth One Stop Shop opened its doors in 2008 to respond to the needs of young people in Southland. We offer services to young people aged 10-24 years. Using a strengths-based approach we empower the health and wellbeing of young people in a safe, youth-friendly environment.

Youthline Southland
Youthline Southland is a youth development organisation. Our Mahi is youth affordable and accessible services, including a free 24/7 helpline, community education, professional counselling, suicide prevention training, personal development workshops, and volunteer training and supervision.

SIT - YOUTH GUARANTEE SCHEME
Southern Institute of Technology is one of New Zealand’s largest institutes of technology. Established in 1971, SIT has since become famous for its Zero Fees Scheme. The Youth Guarantee Scheme provides a pathway from school to further study, work or training. It provides successful candidates a wider range of learning opportunities and free training and education (tuition, course materials and equipment) for one year.

Invercargill Library
We are a dynamic, modern library that thinks outside the box. We break down barriers and stereotypes. We are always friendly, often fun, and at the heart of everything we do is our community.

Front Line
Front-Line Training Consultancy provides a positive, vibrant, environment in which there is a strong culture of support and connectivity. High levels of achievement and a reputation for quality delivery in a setting where learning opportunities are industry focused. Providing education, training and employment services that are challenging and prepare learners and clients with the knowledge and skills required for a range of employment or higher level education opportunities.

South Alive
The Community of South Invercargill. It is a thriving service centre with a strong student presence.
South Invercargill includes some of the oldest residential areas in Invercargill, which now sit alongside new developments, small clusters of community-based retail centres and green spaces.
Mission: Empowered by our strengths as a community, we will build a place to live and work that engenders pride and inspires us.

The goal is for young people and their whānau to get a better understanding of the support, resources and activities that there are available in Murihiku and most importantly, how to access them. We want to provide as many kanohi ki kanohi (face to face) opportunities as possible.
We want to create an open and inclusive event where rangatahi of all identities, genders and ethnicities feel safe and accepted.
